Went to visit this place with Jeeves and Joyce. (both my cousins) Sandakan War Memorial Park, Mile 7. ' The Memorial Park is on the site of the Sandakan prisoner of war (POW) camp. Within the park a commemorative pavilion holds educational material and includes a scale model of the original POW camp. A path winds through the park past preserved wartime relics. Signs and seats around the pathways provide rest points, and at points of significance there are numbered posts linked to the park brochure providing information on the former POW camp. ....is all I need to write this short, no-title poem. If it's a poem at all. I want to file this because I found it kinda a good thing to laugh at when I read my blog back ..hahaha!  Why this poem?  Coz I was bored. Thanks be to God that He manage to make place for my heart and time schedule to attend this very very meaningful retreat. If it's weren't because of Him, I wouldn't even be here to share or get to know the meaning behind The Passion of Christ. At first I am feeling so doubtful that this kind of retreat is gonna be useful for me anyway. I had tried to rebuilt my faith from time to time but it seems so heavy a load to carry. But now I see that that's the point of it all. Carrying our own cross and follow Jesus in our daily lives. Moment by moment, step by step. This world is so cruel. Time won't wait even a second for us. it just keep on running like never ending. Thus, we tend to keep ourselves too busy to have a  quiet time with God .   Through this retreat, I got to know the bond and love between Mother Mary and Jesus himself.
