Sentosa Island @ Singapore

Image
Hello everyone! I had promised myself to post about my short hours in Sentosa Island, located in Singapore. It took centuries for me to put it up together now, since I did not remember much. This was last years' bits and pieces. Thought I'd better put it up here to share. But as usual, I let pictures do the speaking. Enjoy! Daddy brought us to this part of Sentosa Island, as our first stop. The Palawan Beach suspension bridge. It connects beach-goers to the Southernmost of Continental Asia :) Took a moment to realize that!   Didn't manage to enjoy the 'Song of the sea' though. Time is running out. Next time we're heading there, it's gonna be a stay-in at the resorts!! Let's hope so. Banana split anyone? Maybe some ginger bread cookies, cupcakes and candies? Oh, I love the icings! This is Universal Studios, Singapore's Hollywood movie theme park. Since it was just a short visit just to cuci mata and 'check-it-out' I found myself not that upset...

Stardust - a charming originality

*Clap hands* I've finally journeyed myself to the state library for the first in 3 years I lived in Sandakan. - and that would never be accomplished without the company of my two fellow friends, Beverly and Clare. We've been to school in the morning, with a single purpose -- to return our form 3 textbooks to the school SPBT. Oh joy. No more heavy bags! No more heavy bags! With bags as light as a feather, I feel drawn to the library in town. which, I thought is a bit deserted from the outskirts of town itself. I had no idea how many minutes it ate from our time. Lucky for us, we had a quite pleasant weather and lunch was a pleasant one too, for I got myself my favourite, Spaghetti. It took away 11 MYR from me but it was worth it. After we contended ourselves with food, we took the bus to town and from there, walked to the library. It makes me happy, to be in an air-conditioned place with huge glasses that reflects the sea outside. A good place, I thought although it is rather pe...

PMR Wrap Up

Image
Hello readers! How are you? I'm back!! Gosh how I miss blogging.  I hate the regretful feeling when I want to blog before the PMR exam is over. Well cheers to reality it's all OVER now. I can finally sit back and goyang kaki lol. Tomorrow my classmates are planning another outing in town. I had no idea what I want to do there, but friends are the best company. Besides, mum and dad are coming to Sandakan on the 26th and I'm so excited!!! So basically, I need to buy some stuffs to make their stay here a welcomed one. Even the shower foam in the bathroom has run out :O These days the weather is a bit damp, don't you think? Anyway, I can't wait to celebrate my first confirmation in church with them! It's also the first time dad's coming to visit, I sure hope there will be no last minute changes. My confirmation is on the 29th of October which is just a few days after my parent's arrival. I had my white dress ready months earlier and mum agreed to buy me a pa...

Orange

Image
Good day folks :D Today I am up to nothing. Well, more like sleeping 12 hours a day, eat and then back to sleep again. So, one thing you may be thinking about is why on earth I am wasting my time on PMR exam week. Tell you what, I'm tired of revising. Perhaps one of the reason why I am short-sighted now is due to extensive reading o.O. I can't confirm my statement but I assure you that it's no good. Hence, the 'onlining' :D So how many billion people out there that actually likes orange? I like orange. Well, just the fruit. Orangey lipstick, flowers, and all sorts of other 'things'? - Ehh..not so much. According to  crystal-cure.com  , Orange is referred as a 'healing' colour and also a lucky colour. Despite the fact that I dislike orange in many many things, I'm gonna agree when it says that orange helps with relief from things becoming too serious. Take a sunset for example, none other than mother nature. It is altogether calming and spices thi...
