*Clap hands* I've finally journeyed myself to the state library for the first in 3 years I lived in Sandakan. - and that would never be accomplished without the company of my two fellow friends, Beverly and Clare. We've been to school in the morning, with a single purpose -- to return our form 3 textbooks to the school SPBT. Oh joy. No more heavy bags! No more heavy bags! With bags as light as a feather, I feel drawn to the library in town. which, I thought is a bit deserted from the outskirts of town itself. I had no idea how many minutes it ate from our time. Lucky for us, we had a quite pleasant weather and lunch was a pleasant one too, for I got myself my favourite, Spaghetti. It took away 11 MYR from me but it was worth it. After we contended ourselves with food, we took the bus to town and from there, walked to the library. I enjoyed reading this book as it has very fascinating plot. Each character has their unique characteristics and behavior. More importantly, who is the mysterious boy that appears to be watching the Ontario mansion when Norah Bingham was staying there for Christmas? << Now that was the first thing I wanted to know when I started to read the book.  I learned that the boy's name was Jody. But I had no idea why he's there and what does he want to do with Norah. The suspense built when Becca and Andrew, Norah's cousins arrived to Aunt Caroline's house for Christmas too. Now speaking of Aunt Caroline, she's a very odd elderly woman who doesn't really welcome company and it's obvious through her actions and words that she is hiding something. The puzzle gets trickier when finally Norah met Jody in person, talked to him and saw him with her own eyes. Written by Sarah Dessen, it's actually the first book I read from her collection.I like the storyline so much! Well, I don't really go for teen high school drama stories, no.. I'm more into stuff like mysteries,crimes and thriller. Everyone in the block I lived in knew who ugly was. Ugly was the resident tomcat. Ugly loved 3 things in this world: fighting, eating garbage and shall we say, love. The combination of these things combined with a life spent outside had their effect on Ugly. To start with, he had 1 eye, and where the other should have been was a gaping hole. He has also a missing ear on the same side, his left foot has appeared to have been badly broken at one time, and had healed at one unnatural angle, making him look like he was always turning the corner. His tail was long since been lost, leaving only the smallest stub, which he would constantly jerk and twitch. Ugly would have been a dark grey tabby striped-type, except for the sores covering his head, neck, even his shoulders with thick, yellowing scabs. ....is mainly dedicated to young Christians like myself, which makes me inspired with all the short stories and thoughts. It really does help me to reflect on my own life. So I'm here to share some of the contents of this awesome book. Let's just say the reason why I read this book is because all of my close friends keep bugging me around, telling how much they liked the stories..*bla bla bla* till I just can't wait to find out what the excitement is about. 'Let's 'teh-tarik!' is divided into 4 sections, namely : -Life -Love -Community -Looking Upward "Inspiring stories and thoughts to finish well in life.." Based on the 4 'finishing-well' attitudes as outlined in this book. Each section contains touching and inspiring stories, thought, human triumphs, useful tips to enlighten, inspire, intrigue, move, provoke and stimulate readers about issues in life and to keep us going. Just finished reading this awesome book, I borrowed it from my Christian Society library. It has inspiring words, so as it's beautiful, nature pictures. I love photography, especially anything about nature and perfect combinations of colour.. This book is awesome although it's not that thick, it has such wonderful words and stories a family has experience. I'm thrilled to know that their family is so close to God. In this book, it reflects our lives and how God's plan for our lives had brought changes and miracles in it. We can truly understands God's love and plan for our lives if we have hope and faith in Him. He offers everyone good thing and guides us daily. I love a quote from this book saying; ' Sometimes, God takes the most unlikely circumstances and molds them into things of beauty and productivity'.
