Charice Pempengco

Introducing Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco from the Philippines, better known as Charice. She rosed to popularity through Youtube and today, she's still the best and most talented. She even sang with Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Her producer is David Foster, who has worked with a wide range of musical stars including Mariah Carey, Madonna and Christina Aguilera.


Charice's talent was discovered at age 4 when her mother, also a singer, noticed her daughter's loud, rather enthusiastic version of "Happy Birthday" and decided to teach her proper vocal technique. By age 7, Charice was competing in local contests and belting out songs. She was born on May 10 1992, which means she's eighteen by now. *i smell legal :D


I saw her on Oprah Winfrey's show and I Googled her after that. She's actually is the first solo Asian artist to land in top 10 of the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Such an incredible singer!



"I'm so proud of this record and feel so lucky that I had the chance to work with some of the best songwriters and producers out there. Every note and every word is right from my heart," says Charice. She was also guested on the 'Dreams Come True' episode of Oprah Winfrey Show on September 9, Oprah referred to her as 'The Most Talented Girl in The World.' Well, I agree too. I admire her powerful voice so much, the way she carries herself and the way she enjoys her music. My Favourite single from would be 'Note To God' composed by Diane and Warren. The calming, spiritual feeling of the song along with her angelic voice gives me goose bumps.!

Good day readers! I've been abandoning my blog for weeks... and yes, the main reason is study. Almost everything that I do involves movement and also brain exercising! I'm restless considering how little I've been sleeping lately. (trying to burn the midnight oil as exam is 1 week away). Despite that, everything is going on smoothly, especially my reconstruction of time management. I feel fresh and these upcoming 7 days are the only time I have to gear up for the finals. eeps!! 'Do Not Disturb'

I had no idea what am I about to post today. Sigh. Greetings readers :) I miss mum and dad. It's 4 days since they've gone back to KL and I miss the childlike feeling when they are here. I miss the joyous moments we had. The last few days were spent entirely with them and my life had a sign that says 'DO NOT DISTURB' - yup, I am busy with mama and papa, sorry to put you guys on hold. I took my dad to Agnes Keith's House. It's the first tour attraction in Sandakan I led them to, and I am certainly ecstatic. I visited the place myself several times. We were supposed to be shopping for some personal needs when my aunt called and -theres some twist to the story. Anyway, we ended up in Agnes Keith's House, up the hill we went.
