Caught red-handed
Good day readers :) I am extremely bored so I figure I would share one of my compositions. I am feeling like typing without any heavy thinking involved so I see this is the easiest way.
It was the kind of thing we'd expect to happen in the dark of night, but it happened in broad daylight. It's just the latest trend in such crimes! Just a fortnight ago, Mr. Rahman was carrying out his duty as a security guard in Taman Mawar. Although it was only 5 in the evening, the area was as quiet as a grave.
As Mr. Rahman patrols the housing area, he came to a narrow street where an abandoned house stood. He thought he heard noises but decided that it was some children playing around. Before he took the turn to the next block, he heard hissing and loud whispers. He knew he smelled a rat.
Silently, he made his way towards the deserted house. He was overwhelmed by curiosity and was bursting with anticipation! A few seconds later, he came across the word 'Jordan' in fresh, red paint on a wall. He kept on walking, trying to be as quiet as he could. Just when he was about to give up, he stood facing 3 youngsters, red-handed. They were spraying paint on the walls of the house, unaware of Mr. Rahman and obviously brave enough to be in such places.
Mr. Rahman knew he needed to act fast, so he called for backup from the police station while keeping an eye on the teenagers. Unfortunately Morgan, who was with the group caught a glimpse of Mr. Rahman! They started to ran as quick as lightning, leaving behind the spray paints without turning back, laughing.
Luck was on Mr.Rahman's side becasue he managed to keep up with those adolescence together with a team of police, just in the nick of time. The 3 adolescence were arrested and charged with trespassing and tagging. Jordan, who admitted to painting his name on a wall was to be charged in juvenile court as he had a screwdriver in his possession, that was believed to be used to open the main door to the house.
Anyway, I'm in K.K right now, goofing out my sem 1 break with my dear cousins, family and friends. Kaamatan Festival at KDCA this year with the theme 'Cultural Understanding - The Way Forward' is such an interesting theme that I am sure inspire us all to dig more and understand the culture of Kadazandusun, especially. Till then, bye for now :D
Regards :)
