Echoes of joy - my sweet 15

Life goes on even when you're terribly sleepy no? Well, guess what? It's my 15th birthday!! Yikes. I'm already feeling like a grandma. I found out I had a single grey hair, and I started to be a little deaf XD. Eat sleep eat sleep and the next thing you know you'll be in your grave, preparing to meet God lol o.O.

Anyway, the first person who wished me a 'Happy Birthday' this year was, to my astonishment my dear teacher Mr. Lai who used to be my Math and Geography teacher in form 2. I don't expect an early wish, since no one really remember my birthday anyway (sometimes I don't even remember my b'day) =.= not like I'll  drop dead on the spot if people forgets in any case.

24th of June, 2011 would be one of the most treasured birthdays I would ever had. The WHOLE day of it. It was packed with interesting and fun events, which in my opinion is a very good idea to be the 'me' I was born to be and 'reborn' in my faith in everything else. My school held a teacher's day celebration today. First impression? *smile till your ears* when you realize it falls on your b'day. Let me explain, when you're a student, a teacher's day celebration is equivalent to no study in school. Therefore the scream. Besides that, we also had a student mass following up the celebration. I joined the choir team though, it was a really blessed day as I pondered about St. John Baptist.

On the basis of the account in Luke, the Catholic calendar placed the feast of John the Baptist on June 24, six months before Christmas (which, I figure is his Birthday as well!) I thank God for His good blessings of me to be born this date. During the homily in student mass, the priest preached that everyone can be like St. John the Baptist, who is brave to stand and speak up for his faith even though he could suffer the consequences of physical harm or death.. Fortitude, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit was portrayed perfectly by this marvelous Saint.

After the whole craziness, shouts of joy in school and the beautiful homily in mass, it's time to hit on the road bebeh! Joyce, Brian, John, Junior and I went all over Mile 4, wandered aimlessly and purposely walked our way home to enjoy the scenery. First time in my life I ever walked down that highway, looking pretty much insane. I mean, who would ever do that? Crossing highways and all. I bet the people in their cars are gonna say something about us. but I don't care hahahah. Good thing the sun is being kind today. Speaking of sun, I pretty much inspired by a rainbow, in a complete circle, around the sun! It seemed like a halo to me. It's a type of eclipse or something but it's special, special enough to 'creep out' on my birthday.

that's only HALF of the day and I'm already dying of FUN. Finally got something to enjoy with. Tomorrow - 75th Anniversary of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (FSIC). Yes! Another wonderful event to unfold! *wink wink signing out for now! See you soon!
