How does teleportation work?

Good day readers! Just came back with a good spirit to share something that brought up my interest. So, has anyone ever watched Star Trek? The one starring Captain Kirk, Spock, and something something about Enterprise? Isn't it cool to travel vehicle-less like them? Hohoho this is gonna be awesome, imagine waking up everyday and not worry about getting to school, office or an event on time. What if we could go to every country on earth at any time of the day with the help of this simple method? Perhaps you're lost in the woods or trying to escape prison wth. Woudn't it be nice if you can just travel from one place to another without crossing a physical distance or if you're a prisoner, a brick wall? lol, I'm not against imprisonment though, if it's true that that person is an outlaw.

Anyway, in this modern generation, even the coolest transportation technology a.k.a cars, motorcyles, jets, aeroplanes and helicopters have it's imperfection because all of them acquires crossing physical distance, as I stated earlier plus, it also took time depending on the distance.

So what's teleportation? In the words of Dr. Bruce Goldberg, Teleportation is the process of physically relocating the body from one place to another site without touching it in anyway, or using any mechanical device. What we find in a true teleportation is that physical body dematerializes (disappears) from one location and subsequently rematerializes (reappears) in a different spot in an instant often accompanied by a "pop" sound.

When I first saw Star Trek, I always think of it as a fantasy and in other words, 'magic'. Ahh..yeah the best word when I was a kid. However, the modern science says the otherwise. I know this is like clashing with Physics lah but it's up to you to believe it or not. In my case, I think I believe it but certainly not reliable enough.

An experiment conducted by physicists, along with two European groups back in 1998 was successful in teleporting photons. They managed to read the information content of the atomic structure and sends it about 1 meter of coaxial cable and create an imitation of the photon. However, the original photon was no longer in existence. Well, that's a head start for the whole method of 'teleportation'. For scientists, this is very very complex and it may turn out to be a good idea (as in Star Trek film) or a bad idea (The Fly 1986 film, where the scientist accidentally merge with a housefly during a teleportation experiment) :O :O ;O - that's terrorizing. Truth is, I haven't watch that movie. hehe...after all, it has been filmed before my time. Before I existed. But you can imagine what happens when the experiment happens; a human fly ;O ;O that's harsh.

Picture that you step into a teleporter that is expecting only one life to be tranported. Unfortunately, a cat steps in too and you know the things with machines is they don't have brains. So instead of teleporting those two lives in there separately, it combined them into one, so once you got teleported, you'll be a human cat XD. Now you get the idea of the human fly right? geddit geddit? You can also Google about the movie's summary if you don't catch what I said. I feel pretty confused with myself anyway. Okay, I know everyone is lazy so I did it for you ;P here it is ;Plot Summary and  Movie Trailer.

So back to the topic, we know that photons, a light energy particle is teleportable, but how about humans and other living things? Remember in Star Trek where James Kirk and his Enterprise crew teleported from their ship? According to http://science.howstuffworks.com, such a perilous action in reality may be fatal. The teleportation will be made, yes but it will work like a fax machine whereby a duplicate is formed, and here's the part where it happens to the original - they die. Meh. Here's a joke;

Lol, I don't want any doppelgänger living out my life!

Besides that, (from what I understood), the 'teleporting system' at present is not about moving them from one place to another, but rather it's RECREATING them in an exact duplicate at another place. Digitization enables the person's  memories, emotions, hopes and dreams to recreate. Meaning to say, that person would still exist but in a new body that has been programmed. What? Die and exist? You kidding me arh? No lah...it's simply dying to your 'original self' and revive back in another form who is a replica of you lorh. Seriously I think if you're gonna transport the full human body to another destination like what the scientist did with the atomic structure, I think that's gonna take a forever considering all the structures of the human body lol. Doing that for a human seems technologically unthinkable.

Remember, the teleporting of atoms is not actually moving them, but moving their state. So do you think teleportation works safely on human? I don't know...It's easier to create a wormhole portal and step through it to another place like in the cartoons wth. Nonsense imagination but maybe, just maybe it's not impossible? How bout we make a deal, I'll kill you now and recreate you at another place, another time years later :P Be wise, don't accept it, or else you'll be dead forever. R.I.P (coz I don't know how to recreate you, only God knows)..*evil grin

Raining cats and dogs at the moment, sign off and ZZzz! bUbYE!
